Suffolk Teacher Accused Of Sending Sexual Photos Of Teen Daughter: Report
The mom, a public school teacher, sent sexual media of her daughter to male minors, officials said, according to a report.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — An East Northport mother and Long Island public school teacher was accused of sending sexual photos and videos of her 15-year-old daughter to boys as a way to boost the teen's "self-esteem," Newsday reported.
Nicole McCloskey, 51, of East Northport, was arraigned March 14 on child pornography charges after authorities said she used her daughter's social media accounts to share images and communicate with her classmates, Newsday reported.
McCloskey was arrested Feb. 9, online court records show. She pleaded not guilty March 14 and a temporary protection order was issued. On March 22, she was held on a $500K bond.

Records showed she faced 53 felony counts on charges including promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
A voicemail message left with the Suffolk district attorney's office wasn't immediately returned.

A voicemail left with McCloskey’s attorney, Richard Stafford of Bohemia, was not immediately returned.
McCloskey teaches special education at Western Suffolk BOCES, according to Newsday. A spokesperson told the newspaper she has since been reassigned and has "no further contact with BOCES students and no access to its premises."
