• I HATE HAMLET to Open Elmwood Playhouse's 80th Season (broadwayworld.com) — Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack is kicking off its 80th season with the comedy "I Hate Hamlet," running weekends from September 18 through October 10 on Park Street. Local theatergoers can catch evening and Sunday matinee shows, enjoy lobby artwork from the Nyack Art Collective, and even attend an opening-night reception with refreshments from Nyack gourmet shop Scott & Joe.
• Nyack Remembers September 11 on the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary (nyacknewsandviews.com) — Nyack residents recently gathered in Memorial Park for the village's 25th anniversary remembrance of September 11, honoring local lives lost and unveiling Nyack's own "Tribute in Light." The ceremony focused on reflection, courage, and service, and highlighted several community members who died that day, including Welles Crowther, known as the "man in the red bandana."
• Local Event: FLX Sunday Reset: Pilates, Sound Bath, Brunch & More (patch.com) — A wellness-focused Sunday Reset is coming to Hotel Nyack on October 4, offering Pilates, a sound bath, and a farm-to-table brunch right in the village. Local residents can work out, enjoy healthy food, browse wellness pop-ups, and connect with neighbors, though tickets are pricey at $125 and spots are limited.
