• I HATE HAMLET to Open Elmwood Playhouse's 80th Season (broadwayworld.com) — Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack is kicking off its 80th season with the comedy "I Hate Hamlet," running weekends from September 18 through October 10 on Park Street. Local theatergoers can catch evening and Sunday matinee shows, enjoy lobby artwork from the Nyack Art Collective, and even attend an opening-night reception with refreshments from Nyack gourmet shop Scott & Joe.
