Bone-Chilling Weather: Tonight and Thursday Will Be Frigid in Nyack and Piermont

The National Weather Service says the weather through Thursday in the Hudson Valley will be the "coldest air of the season."

The Hudson Valley will see temperatures drop to dangerously cold levels Wednesday night and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service, which calls the period the “ coldest air of the season.”

Much of the region faced light snow on Wednesday, but accumulations were not expected to exceed an inch or so.

Wednesday night, temperatures are expected to plummet into the single digits, which wind chills below zero. Thursday’s high is not expected to reach 20 degrees, and again the wind chill will drop those numbers even lower.
