Cardinal Dolan To Attend Annual Blessing Of The Soil
The Annual Blessing of the Soil, with Archbishop Dolan as Guest of Honor, is to begin at 12 noon on April 28 and will feature activities.

From CCSR: Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland has announced the dates for two of their most popular events, the Annual Dinner and the Blessing of the Soil. The Annual Dinner fundraiser will be held Thursday, March 22 at Town & Country in Congers (922 Route 9W), while the Blessing of the Soil, with Guest of Honor His Eminence Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan in attendance, is set for Saturday, April 28 at Catholic Charities in Haverstraw (78 Hudson Avenue).
The Annual Dinner fundraiser will kick off at 6:00 PM with a social hour, followed by dinner at 7:00 PM. CCCSR will celebrate several honorees, including:
- Business Community Award Recipient: Frances Glick of Mateo Communications
- Community Service Award Recipient: Marion Breland, Director of Youth and Family Services of the Haverstraw Community Center
- Lifetime Community Service Award Recipient: Susan Tiso of Immaculate Conception Parish
