Collaboration: Photographs by Daniel Kazimierski and Page Simon

On display for the month of November at Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library

“Collaboration” is a photographic project Daniel Kazimierski and Page Simon, created this past summer for an exhibit themed “Forest” at the Inverness County Art Centre in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They are reprising it here as they think it is particularly appropriate to a library exhibition. Both artists are residents of Piermont.

Mr. Kazimierski’s photographs and films are in museums and private collections in the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America. Widely known for his work with pinhole cameras and 19th-century printing processes, here he has collaborated using digital images.

As Professor of Art at Rockland Community College, Ms. Simon taught graphic design and digital photographic processes. She has exhibited photography and paintings in the United States, Canada and France.
