In conjunction with The Year of Edward Hopper being celebrated by Nyack's Edward Hopper House, the library will be exhibiting Hopper influenced works by well-known local artists Margaret Grace and James Kimak.
On Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., we will host a lecture on Hopper by Emily Harvey, Chair of the Art Department at Rockland Community College, show the documentary film "Hopper's Silence", by Brian Doherty, and welcome all to an opening reception for the exhibit! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about one of America's greats and see how his influence lives on in the artists of today.
