Blue Rock School to Host Garden Party and Auction --To Benefit New Arts & Nature Studies Annex--

 Blue Rock School of West Nyack will host its Biennial Garden Party and Auction on Sunday, June 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Of Reconciliation’s headquarters, the Shadowcliff Mansion, 521 North Broadway in Upper Nyack.

Overlooking majestic views of the Hudson River, the evening will include live music, wine, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and this year a live auction will take place in addition to the traditional silent auction. Proceeds from the event will go toward the school’s scholarship fund and the construction of the school’s new Arts & Nature Studies Annex.

At a time when funding for the arts is dwindling at the national, state and local levels, Blue Rock School is steadfast in its quest to preserve these essential experiences for its students. The Arts & Nature Studies Annex will be a hallmark of the school’s commitment to the arts and the natural world as crucial tools for intellectual and personal development.
