Charles Sternaimolo: A Photographic Journey Through Edward Hopper's World

Mr. Sternaimolo has documented and photographed well over 150 places in the northeast painted by Edward Hopper.  He draws on research and personal experiences of these places and compares Hopper's subjects to a photograph of the same locale taken decades later.   Fee: $7 ($5 HH members).

Charles Sternaimolo is a graduate of Fitchburg State College where he studied under the renowned photographer Peter Laytin. He currently is working as a Photo Correspondent and collaborating with New England architectural photographers. It is this love of traditional New England that led Charles to his current personal project; a visual comparison of Edward Hopper’s painted locations, many of which were undiscovered until now. This project has been presented during the 2009 Visions Forum.
