Film screening and Swing Concert to celebrate the Greatest Generation

The Historical Society of Rockland County presents an exclusive film presentation and Big Band Swing Concert celebrating our World War II veterans – “The Greatest Generation” on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 3:00pm at the Historic Lafayette Theater 97 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY. 

 

The program will feature an advance screening of the rough cut for the new documentary by filmmaker, Rick Beyer: "The Ghost Army" patriotic music by the Chorus of the Tappan Zee and Jeff Barker on Mighty Wurlitzer organ with special guest, The Stan Rubin Swing Era Big Band and a salute to Rockland County WW II Ghost Army veterans Bill Sayles and Ned Harris.
