At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, the Tappan Library welcomes scholar David Oestreicher. Oestreicher combines archaeological and historical evidence with decades of firsthand ethnographic research to arrive at a full picture of the tribe from prehistory to present. The presentation includes native artifacts, maps, illustrations, and photos and is made possible with support through the NY Council for the Humanities. Pre-register online at www.taplib.org or call 359-3877 for info.
