Lower Hud’s Funniest Contest Winner, Regina DeCicco and Runner-up, Patrick Scully are back by popular demand appearing at Slattery’s Landing Restaurant in Piermont on Friday, September 30^th at 8:30pm. 

Within a few short years, Regina DeCicco, a native of New City and Barnard College graduate, has made a name for herself in the comedy world.  She is a regular at top New York City Comedy Clubs and performs with an all female comedy troupe, Candy Slice.  Regina was awarded the title of “Lower Hud’s Funniest Person, when she beat out close to 30 comedians competing for the title.

2011 Lower Hud’s Funniest Runnier-up, Patrick Scully, will host the show. With his hysterical stories of growing up in “Hell’s Kitchen” and working as a Yonkers bus driver during the day, Scully life is a sitcom in the making.

Headlining the show is “Everyone’s Favorite Mom,” Robin Fox, who  “brought the house down” this past July when she appeared as a special guest during the Lower Hud’s Funniest Contest.   Fox’s material ranges from her blunt take on being a mother and wife to her caustic point of view of former governor, Elliot Spitzer and his extracurricular activities.  An audience members who saw her at Slattery’s in July, commented, “I have not laughed this hard in a long time. “

Piermont resident and comedy producer, agent and coach, Peggy Boyce, who is the Creator of Ladies of Laughter and Lower Hud’s Funniest, produce the show. Boyce teaches comedy workshops at the Nyack Village Theater and Rockland Community College.

The cost for the September 30^th show is $40.00 and includes a delicious four-course dinner.  Reservations are requested, as seating is very limited.  Doors open at 7:00pm for dinner.  Show begins at 8:30pm.  Call 845-398-1943.
