Event is free of charge; $5 to make your own Shofar
The Shofar Factory is a hands-on-workshop for the very young and the young at heart. Experienced craftsmen guide children through the step-by-step process of crafting a Shofar, the traditional horn used during the High Holiday services.
At the Shofar Factory, volunteers are called upon to seperate the shofar from the core, clean and measure the cured horn. The horn is cleared, tested and polished, and the delighted participants learn how to blow and sound the Shofar. This program is both fun and educational
