TRINE GIAEVER -- PAINTINGS

Trine Giaever received a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.  While working full time as an illustrator for The New York Daily News, she earned a Masters in Painting from the New York Academy of Art.  In addition, she has studied at the Art Students League, the National Academy of Design, the School of Visual Arts, and Pratt Institute.  She is currently a freelance illustrator, working primarily for scientific publications.

Giaever has exhibited in several states in the US, and the Albright-Knox Museum includes her work in their collection.  She has also exhibited in Norway and Italy.  After moving to Piermont last year she became interested in painting the people and places in beautiful Rockland County.

David Ellenbogen is a guitarist, producer and an NYC radio host.  He has performed and studied music in India, Africa and Brazil.  With an open mind and approach he plays music ranging from Hendrix to Bach to Indian Raga and the grooves of Mandingo Griots.

Jimmy Cruiz is the bandleader of the Spirit Ensemble which has established itself as the primary source for music that traverses the African Diaspora and has accompanied artists ranging from Madonna to Sandra Bernhardt.  Jimmy specializes in bamboo flutes and percussion and is steeped in the traditions of African, Carribean and Latin Music.
