As a way to celebrate EARTH DAY, our AMAZING Earth,
and all the WILD creatures that call it home,
YOU ARE HEREBY INVITED TO ATTEND:
Vox Lumina’s 4th Annual
Parade of All-Beings!
All ages encouraged, grown ups and children alike!
On Saturday April 30th at 10:45 am (RAINDATE: Sunday May 1)
we will gather at… Riverspace parking lot in Nyack (119 Main Street )
and parade through the streets to Memorial Park…
donning hand-made, recycled materials “Creature Costumes” and “Creature Puppets” representing the various life forms from our special “corner” of the Earth.
In this way we can all see, learn about, and celebrate together
the variety and diversity of our Ecological Community.Some might come as Cloud, Caterpillar, or Bald Eagle, the Coyote, Black Bear, or Squirrel, even Bumble Bee, Moon, or River-
but hopefully everyone will come out and represent a “being” in the Parade of All Beings.
After the Parade, from 11 to 5, All Beings will gather at Memorial Park for The Bee-Green Fair. Green vendors, organizations, green conversations and education, live music, and a variety of Earth-loving activities will be featured.
Don’t have a creature costume or puppet? Come and make one!!
** Wednesday APRIL 27 from 3:30- 6:30 pm **
at NYACK YMCA (35 S. Broadway Ave.)(Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
***Friday APRIL 29 from 7 to 10 pm ***
at LIFT NYACK (42 Main Street)
with music from Vox Lumina and the River Gypsy Medicine Show

ALSO, WE NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS FOR CREATIVE RECYCLING:
-large pieces of cardboard 2x2 or larger
-fabric, preferably single colored, or furry-types, old tablecloths, preferably white
-sewing materials (thread, elastic, needles, safety pins)
-non-toxic paints and old paint brushes
-old costumes/ costume parts of animals- wings, tails, ears, scales
