Giving While Shopping is Possible at the Palisades Center: Hudson Valley Holidays 2016

WEST NYACK, NY — Palisades Center once again has opened the doors to non-profits looking to fundraise during the holiday season.

That means those wishing to donate to one or more charitable groups in Rockland County can visit them throughout the center.

“We are always happy to host non-profits throughout the year.” says Rachel Chester, Director of Marketing for Palisades Center, “And the holiday season is the perfect time to mix holiday shopping and spreading some good will. We hope our guests take advantage of the present opportunities.”

• Rockland County DSS/People to People will be hosting their annual toy drive/giving tree 11/28-12/22. Guests can find them on Level 1 near Bed Bath & Beyond.
• United Hospice of Rockland: The UHR’s “Tree of Life” is located on Level 1 near Lord & Taylor and Macy’s.
• Toys for Tots: Organized by the United States Marine Corps, Toys for Tots will be here every weekend, now until Christmas. Find them on Level 3 across from the Disney Store.
• Salvation Army: Red Kettle Campaign on Level 1 near Guest Services, Level 2 near Staples, Level 3 outside Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Level 4 near AMC Theatres.
• American Cancer Society: Gift-wrapping will begin on 12/8 – until Christmas Eve, Level 1 near Zara. Donations are suggested based on the size of the gift to be wrapped.
• Center for Safety & Change: Gift-wrapping on Level 1 in front of JC Penney beginning 12/10-Christmas Eve.
• Donate Life: will be onsite on weekends, now until Christmas Eve. Selling handmade jewelry, profits will go towards the support of organ donation. Other donations without purchase are also accepted.
