They are 5th Graders at the Cottage Lane Elementary School in Blauvelt and they were also proud Americans on Saturday when they spent the morning at the Homes For Heroes site in Tappan, planting flowers around the flag pole and memorials to our Purple Heart Awardees and 911 Martyrs, under the supervision of Master Gardeners Mary Lukens and Elaine Allison. Much of project's material was donated by Orangeburg's Shop & Stop, Tappan's Paesano's, Norwood's D'Ercole Nursery and Orangeburg's Lowes. Hurrah for the Girl Scouts
