Larchmont Farmers Market Returns For the 2018 Season
The Sound Shore's largest grower-producer farmers market re-opens April 21st

On Saturday, April 21st, the Larchmont Farmers Market will open for its 13th season. The market will be held on the Metro-North park deck off Chatsworth Avenue every Saturday from 8:30am to 1pm through December 29th. The farmers market will continue its tradition of highlighting New York area growers and artisan food makers, with the mission of bringing wholesome and delicious foods to Larchmont shoppers and supporting local small farms and food businesses.
The Larchmont Farmers Market is one of Westchester’s largest and most vibrant grower-producer markets. This season, shoppers can look forward to a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and meats from area farms, including Certified Organic meats and vegetables from Gaia’s Breath Farm, located in Jardanville, NY. Treadlight Farm of Bovina, NY will return with organically grown flowers, and Stone & Thistle Farm will bring pasture-raised meats, poultry and eggs as well as their popular farm-made sausages and pot pies. American Pride Seafood, a market favorite with their fresh-off-the boat Long Island fish, will also be back. New this year are McGrath Cheese Company, a micro-sized creamery making European style cheese from Hudson Valley milk, and Diner Brew Co. with traditional and inventive hard ciders made in Mount Vernon, NY. The farmers market will welcome many more shopper favorites and new vendors this year, and shoppers can see the full schedule at www.downtoearthmarkets.com.
Amenities in the 2018 season include more café seating and a full schedule of live music and kids’ activities. Shoppers will find ample free parking next to the farmers market by entering the Metro-North parking deck off Myrtle Boulevard.
