Calm, friendly therapy dogs registered with the Hudson Valley Visiting Pet Program will visit the Valley Cottage Library. These special animals love to be petted, enjoy travel and brighten the lives of hospital patients and residents of nursing home and assisted living homes. As members of the Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program, they work with children in schools and libraries.
Come meet these special animals and discover whether your dog or cat would make a good therapy pet and learn how to join the Hudson Valley Visiting Pet Program. (Please do not bring your pet to this event.)
