Nyack High School Junior Becomes Eagle Scout

For his Eagle Scout project, he improved access at Dowling Gardens in Sparkill.

NYACK, NY — Rockland resident Callum Hanchrow of Troop 2 in Nyack became an Eagle Scout at a recent Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Entering his junior year at Nyack High School this year, Hanchrow created a level, accessible path to a patio at Dowling Gardens in Sparkill.

Residents and visitors of Dowling Gardens can now safely access and enjoy the sitting area.

“Congratulations to Callum on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We are proud of your tremendous efforts and hard work,” said Rockland County Executive Ed Day. “I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.”
