Nyack Hospital Deplores Employee's Facebook Post: News Report
A Jewish activist group complained about a woman's comments on ultra-Orthodox women, according to News 12.
NYACK, NY — A Jewish group is deploring a Facebook post by a Nyack resident about ultra-Orthodox women who live in Rockland. So, apparently, is her employer, Nyack Hospital. The post was considered anti-Semitic by OJPAC Hudson Valley, according to News 12.
Allegedly the woman, who is a nurse, complained that while non-Jewish Rockland women work, ultra-Orthodox women do not. "I'm tired of my tax dollars paying for their 13 children!" she wrote, according to News 12. "I'm working 2 jobs while these pregnant beauties are shopping at Lord and Taylor!!!!"
The hospital said the post does not reflect its ideals or its care, the TV news outlet reported.
