Nyack Man Charged with Burglary in Pearl River
Orangetown police arrested him after a 3-week investigation.
The Orangetown Police Detective Bureau arrested Marcus Ratnecht of Nyack on Dec. 20 in connection with a burglary in Pearl River.
Ratnecht, 42, faces felony charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
This arrest was made after a 3-week investigation regarding a burglary that occurred on Gilbert Avenue in Pearl River Dec. 1. Some of the proceeds from the burglary were recovered at Ratnecht’s home.

Ratnecht was arraigned by Judge Loftus and released. He is due in court Jan. 12.
The Crime Scene Unit from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Dept. assisted with the investigation.
