PIERMONT, NY — Want to find a job or get better at the one you have?
Free employability classes are offered at the Rockland County Career Center, located on the Suffern and Haverstraw campuses of Rockland Community College. The classes are designed to help people succeed at existing jobs, in their search for employment, or in advancing their careers. Enroll now for a new series beginning Jan. 11, 2017 and take as many free courses as you’d like.

“I learned insightful and relevant information taking these workshops. The instructor provided sound business advice that helped me land a great job!” said Donna Gunney-Satterfield of New City.
The focus is on developing skills that are highly valued by employers and can be used across many industries in career positions ranging from entry-level to senior management, RCCC officials said.

Class topics include computer, technical, and organizational. Analytical and relationship skills are developed to enhance employees’ abilities in effective problem solving, applying their knowledge, and interacting successfully with customers, colleagues and supervisors.

The Rockland County Career Center is Rockland’s one-stop employment and training resource, supporting both the employment and training needs of job seekers and the staffing needs of employers. The Career Center is located on the Haverstraw and Suffern campuses of Rockland Community College. All services are provided free of charge.
