• The John Green House Is a Preservation Project in Nyack (hvmag.com) — A major restoration of Nyack's historic John Green House on Main Street is steadily transforming the 1819 sandstone landmark from a long-neglected eyesore into a future museum and artist hub. Local volunteers and the John Green Preservation Coalition have secured grants, donations, and a recent $150,000 gift to finish exterior work, while slowly clearing the interior during weekend work parties.

• Historic Hudson River Towns Supports All Aboard Hudson Valley West Shore Passenger Rail Feasability Study (rocklanddaily.com) — Nyack is among the river communities backing a new feasibility study to restore passenger rail service along the West Shore Line, potentially improving transit options on the west side of the Hudson. Historic Hudson River Towns has urged Gov. Kathy Hochul to fund the study, arguing better rail could support housing, economic growth, and mobility across Rockland and Westchester.
