Piermont Residents Become Eagle Scouts

Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated brothers Corbin and Tristan Kuiper of Troop 55 on becoming Eagle Scouts.

From Rockland County Executive's Office: Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated brothers Corbin and Tristan Kuiper of Troop 55 on becoming Eagle Scouts at their Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

Corbin Kuiper, a freshman at SUNY Albany, painted the inside of the Piermont Community Center to beautify it and encourage participation in PAL programs.

Tristan Kuiper, a senior at Tappan Zee High School, built five outdoor dog kennels at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center to increase their capacity and provide outdoor exercise space.

“Congratulations to both Corbin and Tristan on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We are very proud of their hard work and efforts,” said County Executive Day. “I wish them both the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
