Piermont, Some Of The Nyacks Score High In 2022 Niche Rankings

NYACK, NY — Nyack is a fine place in New York to live, according to Niche.com's 2022 rankings, but not as nice as Piermont, Upper Nyack, West Nyack or South Nyack, all of which made the top 100.

The survey was based on public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family-friendly amenities. Data from the U.S. Census, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were also factored in.

The A+ grades Niche gave Nyack for its schools and its diversity helped offset the "D" it received for housing, which may have accounted for its position at No. 266 of 902 ranked communities.
