STAC Announces New Director of Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving

JENNIFER TANIS APPOINTED STAC DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI AFFAIRS AND ANNUAL GIVING

Jennifer Tanis was recently appointed as the new director of alumni affairs and annual giving at St. Thomas Aquinas College announced Karen Wright, vice president for institutional advancement at the College.

Tanis, of Kinnelon, NJ, previously held the position of director of events, alumnae and individual giving at Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey. Her professional experience includes event management, marketing and relationship building within the corporate and non-profit sector. Tanis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in behavioral science from Green Mountain College (Poultney, VT).

As director of alumni affairs and annual giving, Tanis is responsible for developing and implementing engagement programs and events for alumni to enhance loyalty, dedication and support for the College. She maintains communication with alumni and facilitates growth of the alumni association board, student engagement and student-alumni connections. She collaborates with colleagues in other offices to increase alumni participation and advance the goals of the college. She raises funds for special projects and is responsible for the management and growth of the college’s annual fund program.

“Jennifer brings a unique set of skills and experience to St. Thomas Aquinas College,” said Wright. “Her exceptional approach to increase alumni outreach will no doubt help STAC continue to develop and succeed. We are thrilled to have her on the institutional advancement team,” added Wright.
