The Bad, Bad Band O' Bad Boys
American jug band music at its gourmet finest! The band consists of four master musicians and about fifteen instruments – some homemade. Presenting the Blues, Ragtime and Stomps of The Memphis Jug Band, Gus Cannon, Louis Armstrong and others primarily from the American South and Midwest of the 1920’s. Loren Korevec: Piano, Jug, Fiddle, Banjo and Vocals
Loren has appeared in every joint in Rockland for many years in addition to many TV commercials and broadcasts. He spent 12 years as “Pianist to the Stars” at Elaine’s in NYC. He’s toured with numerous bands including The Tokens. Loren is currently touring with The The Band Band and Tim O’Donohue’s Liffey Mud Band.

Gary Solomon: Bass, Guitar, Harmonica, Washboard
Native Rocklander, Gary is a highly sought after bass player who has toured the world with many fine musicians including Steve Forbert and Maria Muldaur. A fine musician, Gary is the founder of The The Band Band, The Pachyderms and other greats.
Erik Lawrence: Sax, Flute, Slide Whistle, Sweet Potato
Erik has toured with a long list of great musicians including Chico Hamilton, Joan Osborn, Steven Bernstein/Henry Butler and Aretha Franklin among many others. Erik spent many years traveling with the Levon Helm Band where he won two Grammies. He is about to leave on a month long tour of South America with the Levin Brothers Band so if you happen to be in Tegucigalpa on a Saturday night, why not look them up?
Monroe Quinn: Guitar, Banjo
Monroe studied for over ten years with jazz guitar great Remo Palmier. He has performed with such artists as Billy Preston, Micky Dolenz, Peter Noone, Neil Innes, Joey Mallond of Badfinger and Denny Laine from Wings and The Moody Blues. Quinn’s first CD, I’ll Dream of You, which includes the talents of pianist Derek Smith, was featured on 88.3 FM WBGO and chosen as one of the “highlights of the year” on “Jazz From the Archives.” Quinn’s own transcriptions of solos by Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane and others have been published by the Hal Leonard Corporation. In addition to his work as arranger, studio musician and solo guitarist, Monroe can be heard playing live with many artists in the tri-state area. His musical range comfortably spans pop, rock, jazz, dixieland, fusion and classical.
