Unbuckled, Unlicensed, on Probation...and 246 Bags of Heroin in the Car
An indictment has been handed down in a Sept. 28 traffic stop on Route 9W.

Michael LaFrancois, 25, was indicted Oct. 8, by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crime of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree.
According to District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe, LaFrancois was was stopped at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 for not wearing a seat belt while driving on Route 9W in Stony Point.
The West Haverstraw resident advised the officer that his driver’s license was revoked for a previous DWI charge and that he was on probation. He was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle revealed 246 decks of heroin inside.
