Volunteer Firefighters from Thiells Among Rockland Responders sent to Western New York
Volunteers from New City, Hillburn, Suffern, Tallman and Thiells took essential equipment to Erie County, devastated by freak snowstorms.

Volunteer firefighters from departments in Hillburn, New City, Suffern, Tallman and Thiells—and their specialized vehicles—were dispatched on Saturday to weather-weary Western New York.
With seven feet of snow on the ground and flooding expected, our first responders are bound for the Town of Hamburg in Erie County to lend a critical hand.
