WRCR AM 1700 Gets New Sign at Ball Park Studio

Out with the old, in with the new -- subtract 3 and add 7 and you get a new AM 1700 sign at the WRCR studio in Pomona!

WRCR AM 1700, a new radio station born in Rockland, launched July 13, 2015. Operated by Alexander Broadcasting Company, the new station is anchored by legendary Rockland broadcaster Steve Possell in A.M. drive and will still feature its current programming lineup, which includes talk shows, local and national news and Adult Contemporary music. Neil Richter will “Rock your ride home from work” with hits from the 70’s to today along with traffic and weather updates. “Lunchtime Talk with Jeff & Kerry” wraps up the week on Fridays at noon (see photos, courtesy of Jessica Guilfoyle).

Boosted by a powerful 10,000-watt signal, the new WRCR reaches more than 12 million people across the Lower Hudson Valley, northern NJ and New York City. The station will be broadcasting in standard analog AM, combined with the new digital, crystal clear HD Radio and stream live from its website at www.WRCR.com.
