1-4 Inches Of Rain For The Hudson Valley Into Saturday
A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for some areas. Here's the hour-by-hour forecast.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A strong cold front is coming into the region. In front of it we'll have some really warm weather Friday, but mostly we're looking at 48 hours of rain, thunderstorms and maybe even wet snow as a finale in some areas.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Dutchess and Ulster counties.
Rain, moderate to heavy at times, will occur into Saturday. The rainfall will come in two surges, the first tonight into early Friday, and the second Friday night into Saturday. By the time the rain tapers off late Saturday, 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain is expected.
Runoff from the rainfall may allow some main stem rivers to reach minor flood stage. If confidence increases that the rain may cause widespread flooding, then a flood watch would be issued for part of the area. Rivers should generally crest late Saturday into Sunday.
This amount of rainfall will also be enough to produce ponding of water on roadways, especially where storm drains are clogged with fallen leaves. In addition, flooding of poorly drained low lying areas and isolated flash flooding will be possible.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of eastern New York from around the Saratoga Region and Capital District southwest through the Mohawk Valley and eastern Catskills in a Marginal Risk outlook for severe storms.

"There is a good consensus that the axis of heaviest rainfall will be across the Hudson Valley," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather in a post titled, "Guess What? More Rain!"
Hudson Valley Weather predicts 1-2 inches of rain from Thursday night into Saturday morning; with up to 4 inches in the Catskills. Moreover, at the end, some of that precipitation could fall as wet snow at the highest elevations — namely the Catskills and the Taconics.

The temps will get close to 70 on Friday but highs will struggle out of the low 50s on Saturday.
Figure we'll lose most of the leaves, so be careful driving on wet roads.
