Assemblywoman Galef discusses Hope for Youth
Assemblywoman Sandy Galef discusses the work of the Hope for Youth Foundation with its founders, local residents Jim and Nancy Witt, on this episode of “Dear Sandy.”
The Hope For Youth Foundation, Inc. was started in 1986 by Jim Witt and Gary B. Pease to raise funds from the sale of Long-Range Weather Calendars to support local children’s charities. Their scope of work has grown since its start, and the mission has expanded to include more children.
“The Hope For Youth Foundation does incredible work, providing scholarships and financial support to many local charities that are central to our communities,” said Galef. “The organization provides assistance to those providing support to children in any way imaginable—from education to healthcare to improving the lives of those with disabilities. I encourage you to watch this episode in order to learn more about the incredible efforts of a local non-profit.”
