Assemblywoman Galef Interviews Katherine Quinn and Barbara Cervoni about Support Connection for Her "Dear Sandy" TV Show
Assemblywoman Sandy Galef's newest "Dear Sandy" episode focuses on the important work of Support Connection
(February 22, 2016) Assemblywoman Sandy Galef interviews Katherine Quinn, Executive Director of Support Connection: Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support, and Barbara Cervoni, Director of Services and Communication for the Support Connection about their work with women battling cancer in Westchester, Putnam, and Duchess Counties on her TV Show, “Dear Sandy.”
Support Connection, which was started in 1996, is a non-profit organization which provides various services to women going through breast and ovarian cancers, including 1-to-1 counseling via telephone with a cancer survivor, support group meetings, and even yoga classes. Quinn and Cervoni explain how the organization was created and has grown.
