International Film Festival by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers begins September 18.

Calvary is the first featured film for the 2015-2016 International Film Festival sponsored by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers.

Calvary is a 2014 Ireland/UK film from director John Michael McDonagh. The film is about Father James, a small-town priest in Ireland whose Sunday confessionals suddenly include a threat to kill him in a week’s time as a matter of principle.

The film will be shown Friday, September 18, 7:30 p.m. at the Maryknoll Mission Center, 55 Ryder Road in Ossining. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. For more information, visit the Maryknoll website or contact Nancy Kleppel (914-941-7590 or nkleppel@maryknoll.org).
