Looking to make a real impact in the local community, Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School continued its annual tradition of partnering with the Croton Caring Committee to collect food for families in need this Thanksgiving.
“Each grade was assigned a specific food item, such as pasta, canned goods, cereal, etc.,” said district social worker Renee Tanner. “The students’ response was overwhelming, and we quickly filled more than 25 boxes of food. Thank you to all the families and staff, including the district office, for donating to this wonderful program.”
