Chabad of Briarcliff-Ossining Celebrates New Campwoods Road Shul

You're invited to help kick off the transformation.

Chabad of Briarcliff-Ossining announces a milestone in its 11th year: on March 18, Chabad became the proud owner the site of its future shul at 15 Campwoods Road in Ossining.

The purchase of the former Ossining Heights United Methodist Church is only the very beginning of the history you are invited to be part of.

The building needs the community to see it through a transformation from its current state, into a center of prayer, learning and gathering.

The structure will require a multi-phase renovation to make it a multi-purpose center, to gather, to celebrate and to enrich the lives of adults and children.

The reconstruction will take place over various phases, with a shul in the main room amidst soaring ceilings, and renovations to finish classrooms for children and youth.

Once completed, the plan will include a social hall, mikvah and a shabbos guest house to complete this center of worship and Jewish life.

“With your participation we can build memories of generations that follow us. A place of joyous belonging for our children; a place to call our own,” organizers said.

You are invited for an evening of wine, sushi and deserts at 7 p.m. June 16, at the new Chabad Community Center, 15 Campwoods Road, Ossining, NY and see for yourself the magnificent structure, with renderings of its future state.
