Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol performed at the Croton Academy of Arts
The holiday favorite, Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol will be performed at the Croton Academy of Arts on Dec. 11-13
Westchester children and teens, ages 10 – 17, will present Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Friday, December 11, 7:00pm. Saturday, December 12, 3:00 and 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 13, 3:00 pm at the Croton Academy of Arts, 8 Old Post Road, Croton on Hudson, NY.
This beloved holiday classic depicts Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from an embittered, ungenerous creature into a giving, caring human being at the hands of three spirits, who, one Christmas Eve, show him what life means. The touching climax is based on Dickens’ belief that the ills of a greedy world can be healed by brotherhood and unselfishness. A Christmas Carols’ open staging at Croton Academy of Arts will give the audience the sense of being a part of the action and drama.
Tickets available on-line, www.crotonacademy.org, $15/adults, $12/children and teens. A very limited supply of general admissions seats will be sold at the door.
