Unresponsive was how Dymes was found on Easter Sunday 2015, when her estranged husband called Croton-on-Hudson police. She was kneeling by the side of a bed in her parents' home, and her child was lying on the bed, also unresponsive. Strewn around the room were over-the-counter, prescription and illegal drugs and alcohol. There were also two handwritten suicide notes.
Dymes survived.
