Croton ShopRite Customers Help Raise $150,000 for Children's Hospital

The drive was held across the lower Hudson Valley.

ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. (SRS) recently presented a check for $150,000 to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.

The funds were raised over a period of more than three weeks last November, during which ShopRite stores throughout Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties collected donations at checkout and hosted in-store activities and events during the month of November to raise funds.

ShopRite stores that participated in the fundraiser included Bedford, Carmel, Chester, Cortlandt, Croton, Ellenville, Fishkill, Greenway, Kingston, Liberty, Middletown, Monroe, Montague, Montgomery, Monticello, Newburgh, New Rochelle, New Paltz, Scarsdale, Poughkeepsie, Thornwood, Tuckahoe, Vails Gate, Wallkill, Warwick and White Plains.
