Eduscape Associates Inc. Presents New Workshops
PSAT Boot Camp and Parent University at Local Libraries

Eduscape Associates, Inc.in Ossining has announced two workshops they are now offering local students and their parents. Working with the Ossining School District Community Partnership Program, Eduscape Associates is hosting a PSAT Boot Camp, a one day 3 hour workshop. The event will be held Saturday, October 10 or Sunday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Avenue, Ossining, 10562. The PSAT Boot Camp will include: New PSAT Test Strategies, Intense Timing and Practice Testing. Tuition for the class is $150 and a limited number of scholarships may be available for certain applicants. The second series offered by Eduscape Associates is titled Parent University: Navigating the College Process and will consist of FREE College planning workshops at the Briarcliff Manor Library. The first workshop, “Ready..Set..Go..” will be held Tuesday, October 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 1 Library Road, Briarcliff Manor, 10510. Topics covered will include Career Exploration, How to make your High School Transcripts appealing to colleges, Course Selection, College Planning, Campus Tours and Visits, and utilizing the Internet for your search. The second workshop offered “Paperwork…Get on It” will be held Thursday, November 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Topics to be discussed include: Writing a College Essay that stands out and enhances the application, Create an excellent resume of skills, work experience and community service, The application: Who Does What and Get a head-start and greater comfort level with admissions and applications.
