End In Sight For Brutal Cold Snap
Here's the hour-by-hour forecast for two more nights of letting the cold water faucet drip.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A water main break in New City Thursday morning was just par for the course during the region's brutal cold snap. We've got two more nights to get through before temperatures climb back to seasonal (and then soar into spring-like.)
The National Weather Service said:
Despite plenty of sunshine, very cold temperatures are expected today, with highs only rising into the teens. This is approximately 20 to 25 degrees below normal for this time of year. While winds will gradually diminish throughout the day, wind chill values are only expected to rise to around zero by afternoon. Another cold night is then expected tonight, with lows once again falling into the single digits across a large portion of the area. As winds continue to diminish, wind chill values will generally range between 5 degrees below zero and 5 degrees above through the overnight hours.
Then on Friday, temps won't get past the 20s during the day and will sink to about 10 degrees at night.
