Hazardous Outlook, Coastal Flooding For The Hudson Valley

The NWS put out two notices about hazardous conditions and coastal flooding which we should have expected, since it's a nice day.

After record-breaking cold and then drenching rain, the Hudson Valley gets one day — one day — of partly sunny weather with mild temperatures for late November. We should have expected the National Weather Service to put out two notices about hazardous conditions and coastal flooding.

The hazardous weather outlook is for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties:

Monday through Saturday: With the moderate to heavy rainfall that occurred across the region Saturday and Saturday night, and with the likelihood of additional rainfall Monday and Monday night, flooding of small streams will be possible.

"When all is said and done… another inch of rainfall seems likely," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
