New Hazardous Weather Outlooks In The Hudson Valley
Here's what to expect Friday and Saturday.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The storms just keep on coming. The Bermuda high continues to influence the region with a tropical-like airmass, and the National Weather Service has issued new Hazardous Weather Outlooks in parts of the Hudson Valley.
"The unsettled weather will carry into Friday… before we see more widespread showers and storms Friday night into Saturday AM," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday north and west of New York City. They will become even more widespread into Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into Saturday morning. The main threat will be for locally heavy downpours. Urban and small stream flooding is possible and isolated flash flooding cannot be ruled out. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms, so some isolated storms could also produce damaging winds.
Heat indices may reach the mid-90s for portions of the Hudson Valley Sunday through Tuesday. If confidence increases in reaching these values, a Heat Advisory may be needed.
There is also a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, for a low chance of flash flooding Friday night and Saturday.
