Hudson Valley Graphic Design Partners with Croton Community

For the past seven years local design firm Hudson Valley Graphic Design has been instrumental in creating the designs for the Harry Chapin Memorial Run Against Hunger which raises funds to fight hunger and provide food to children and adults in need across the world. The team at Hudson Valley Graphic Design, based out of Croton-On-Hudson where the annual event is held, donates their talent and time to work closely with the volunteers each year. This year they incorporated the Croton Dam Spillway, which is an established icon for the community, into the finished colorful design with navy colors that is printed on tee shirts, medals, posters and signage for the event. The products were distributed to over 1,000 participants in the 5k walk, fun run and 10 K race which is now in the 355h year and grows tremendously with each year.

In addition to donating their design services for the annual event Hudson Valley Graphic Design was on hand October 18th participating in the actual race with their own team to help raise funds for the cause. The award winning design firm has also help to promote the Run Against Hunger through all their social media platforms and client email blasts. “Giving back to our community is something that the team at HVGD feels very strongly about and we truly love working with this dedicated group from Croton-on-Hudson,” said Janeen Violante, owner and lead designer for the project. “The Run Against Hunger is a great cause and we are proud to be associated with their tremendous success through the years and to have our staff and team participate in the event as well.”
