Hudson Valley Keep An Eye On Weather Radar For July 4th Week
The Hudson Valley forecast is for a classic summer week leading into and out of Independence Day. Here are details.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The first week of July starts off with low humidity and comfortable temperatures. Then heat and humidity will be on the rise as we head toward the holiday and holiday weekend, with daily chances of afternoon and evening showers as well as fireworks across the region.
"The remainder of the week looks very summer like, with highs in the mid 80s, and increasing humidity levels by Thursday and Friday," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
Those summer conditions of course include thunderstorms.

Most of the storms will occur between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist, "even a garden-variety pop-up thunderstorm can be very heavy for a short time over a localized area this time of the year. Storms of this nature can bring flash flooding, knock over trees and trigger power outages in one part of a community and completely miss another part."
It'd be a good idea to keep an eye on the radar for all your outside activities.
