WHAT: The Mike Risko Music School is hosting an open house on September 10 from 10 am–1 pm so children can feel, hear, see and try different instruments, to familiarize themselves with different instruments and make an informed decision about which one they’d like to play this school year. Staff will also be on-hand to give children mini-lessons on the instruments and to answer any questions about music lessons or classes.
Families can also learn about Disney’s Lion King KIDS and Rock Star Vocal workshops, as well as a junior rock star vocal workshop for kids in pre-k through 1st grade. Private lessons begin the week of September 6 and group classes begin the week of September 26.
