The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns will host a program on WHAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT END OF LIFE ISSUES on Tuesday, March 8 at 8:30 AM at the Eldorado West Diner, located at 480 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY.
Elizabeth C. Briand will be addressing legal aspects of aging.
Ms. Briand is a member of the Bleakly Pratt law firm’s Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Westchester Bar Association.

Susie Rush will be addressing end of life legislation.
Ms. Rush is a legislative analyst for NYS Assemblywoman Amy Paulin. A former League president and partner with the law firm of Lowenthal, Landau, Fisher & Zeigler, P.C., she has worked on legislative issues in education, domestic violence, human trafficking and healthcare, including aid in dying.

Sherry Saturno, LCSW, DCSW will be addressing administrative issues of aging.
Ms. Saturno has both clinical and administrative experience in the field of aging as an Assistant Administrator and Director of Social Services in nursing homes, specializing in palliative and end of life care. She is certified in Aging Studies at Boston University’s Center for Aging, Disability, Education, and Research.
