Ossining Fills Enrollment For Virtual Academy
District officials announced they would take no more requests.
OSSINING, NY — Ossining school officials, as part of their re-opening plan, offered parents the option of having their children attend school in a "virtual academy."
They received more than 1,200 requests to have students placed in a fully remote setting.
"At this time we will no longer be accepting requests to join the virtual academy," schools Superintendent Raymond Sanchez said Thursday in a letter to the community. "This decision will help our building principals complete the placement process."
