Coronavirus Surge: Ossining High School Goes Remote Thursday

All the other schools will be in session in their buildings the day before the winter break begins.

OSSINING, NY — Ossining High School will close classrooms a day early and go fully remote on Thursday, the day before the winter break begins.

At OHS in the past two weeks, 17 students and staff members were reported positive for the coronavirus — 10 of them on Tuesday.

The decision was made due to districtwide staffing constraints, Superintendent Ray Sanchez said. However, all other schools will be open for in-person teaching and learning.
